Just tried to withdraw some cash using my NatWest ATM card from 4 different ATMs, each time it was refused. There's money in the account and I checked it earlier. Three of the ATMs just said it was unable to process my transaction, including just printing out a balance. The fourth said the Switch network was down.

This would be quite a big deal if the whole Switch network was down? I haven't heard anything about this. Standing on the pavement ringing NatWest and being put on hold because they were too busy is NO fun, especially when I've been put through by Directory Enquiries because I didn't have the bloody number on my new phone.

Has anyone else been affected or is it just me?

Just spoken to NatWest, they advise it IS a national problem but will be fixed in the next 10 minutes. Apparently.
