Perhaps we should be a bit more of a caring society and offer death as an option to long term religious criminals from the christian and muslim communities that request it and believe there is a better life after death.
Surely that is a win win situation all round.
They get to die, we save loads of cash and clear more prison spaces and know to boot they made a stupid call that we can lol

There are very good reasons why we no longer have the death penalty in this country. However, in this case if we chose to ignore those reasons, I think I could live with it!
