I find it incredulous that the press and social media experts are already writing him off as one big flop before he has even kicked a ball.

Class player, without any doubt far better than any of their options in that role. Could have the same effect on United that Makelele had when he came to Chelsea, or Fernandinho for City.

Great player. Madrid have had the 5 best years out of him and yet at 30 can still sell him for £60m plus. Unbelievable.

It’s a great signing to be fair. Doesn’t really matter about the money involved- they desperately need some quality and bite in midfield and he has that in spades. The Caicedo thing was never likely. Does make you wonder why they weren’t in for Biss.

They couldn't offer what he wanted.

There are stories about other EPL Utds being interested in him including Newcastle and West Ham. Why any team would want him I don’t know. Hopefully he’ll be sent back to Scotchland permanently; he is a disgusting stain on the Premier League.

Because Ten Hag had hung his hat on Frenkie de Jong and they assumed that as they were ManU they'd just roll up and sign him? Shame really - a bit of a bidding war would have ben nice, and I think maybe it might have been a better move, both for United and for Biss.
