The Simpsons of course.

Genius.

"I'm actor Troy McClure. You may remember me from such government edu-tainment programmes as "Smoke Yourself Thin' and 'Get Confident, Stupid!' "

What was so bad about last weeks Simpsons? Or would it ruin the surprise? It must be hard for the writers to keep coming up with fresh material after the show has been going since Adam and Eve had cable fitted.

Instead of some crappy quiz which was started last week and I didn't bother watching. Also SKY always show the same old episodes. I'm sure there are some I've only seen a couple of times and some I could quote in my sleep.

I don't think it'll be spoiling anything very worthwhile, but if you really want to keep the suprise then avert your eyes.....NOW

Millhouse's mother moves to the capitol city for a job and takes Millhouse with her. This upsets Bart because Millhouse is his best friend. Bart mops around and acts generally gay until he starts doing stuff with his sister and it suddenly dawns on him that she is his new best friend. Millhouse returns after his dad gets custody (out of pity from the judge) and then Lisa is upset because Bart runs off with Millhouse again. Finally at the end Barts makes up with his sister. --- See, sounds more like a soap opera than a sitcom doesn't it?
Oh and while of this is going on Homer decides to panhandle so he can buy Marge some diamond earings.
Funnest part was when Bart visits Millhouse in the capital city and Millhouse has gone all urban with the tracksuit and the bling-bling.

Wow, that's a good description. I thought I was gonna get a one line answer.

Just turned on BBC2. I have seen this episode at least 20000 times!

I have never seen the appeal of the Simpsons.

I find Rugrats more amusing than that.

I voted for the Flintstones because it was innovative.

South Park - the fact that is so consistently slaughters political correctness of both the right and the left makes it untouchable.

I also love Futurama because I'm a sci-fi saddo and get most of the in-jokes.

Simpsons set the standard but I think the failure of Futurama has meant Groening has lost his nerve. Too many celebs now, too average.

The fact that these are all on Dvd box sets now has meant I have no money for food anymore.
