Cars, trains or planes to Derby?

What is the best way to get to derby? let say I'm travelling from Brighton at 9am. I'm guessing car would be 3hrs, train would be 4-5hrs but how? and you could fly from LGW to Manchester- miles away or LHR to Leeds Bradford- fcuking expensive.

Driving: Brighon to Derby is around 190 miles, and should take just over 3 hours. If leaving at 9, you should expect to get to Derby just after 12 depending on traffic...

Getting to Derby is very simple if you are coming from the M1. Simply exit at junction 25 onto the A52, and follow the signs to the stadium.

I wish!! flying from france to england is a lot more expensive. This is due to the fact that not many french people come to England (they do not travel well) on holiday- for which we (the english) can be truely grateful
