Agree with Scott. If you were to pose the question of Bobby Zamora when he was Andy Carroll's age, or Andy Carroll now then you might get a different answer.
Has to be Carroll really, much as it pains me to say it. Partly because of current form yet mostly because he is young. A lot of people have called for younger players to get a chance, or that we should be building for world cup 2014 rather than trying same old thing for Euro 2012, so we can't ignore those aims for sentimental reasons. Hopefully both though as I LOVE seeing Bobby in an England shirt.
How can people judge on current form and vote for Carroll when Bobby's got a broken leg or whatever it is. Before he was injured, he was in unplayable form and would be regular for England at the moment without his injuries. Also, you can't compare the two. For the next couple of years if Bobby can return to his previous form after injury then no doubt it should be him. After that, Carroll can come in and relieve the messiah of his duties once hen has matured and improved to a higher level.
