Is this a transfer bit of gossip you would care to share with us? No stalling, what's the story?

No story just my opinion really, everyone has been saying his agent wants him to get a move to the prem but to be honest i doubt he would make it there but can see him going to a team like wolves/leicester. Put it this way i cant see him wanting to get "stuck in" in league 1.

He's on contract to us for two years. He's also buying a house down here in the summer, where previously he was only renting. That doesn't sound like someone preparing to leave.

Doubt he is PREPARING to leave but if someone came for him in the summer i cant see him wanting to stay with us.

I don't think he has shown enough for someone in this league to pay a fee for him..... if he was on a free then people would probably be interested... i think he will probably still be here next season

Its easy to say that given his performances during the last month or so but if you remember back to games earlier on in the season for example leeds away he absolutly ran the show and was the best player on the pitch by a mile. Id be very suprised if a bigger club hadnt noticed that.

Yeah but people are watched for a period of time, and since christmas he hasn't been as good.... i'm not saying he is shit... but not been setting the world alight..... just don't think many would risk money on him yet

When I read that in the Argus I immediately wondered if anyone would complain about the unfair management. After all, they'd just been held up in traffic. Then I realised that of course, as MM wasn't involved, there would be nothing made of it.

I think, on the bright side of relegation, that players like Carole with clear potential will possibly have an outstanding season in League 1 which is good for us in every way.
There are some sides of his play that need polishing but at least when he came on on Saturday he had a bit of spark and it felt like something might happen when he got the ball.
(Much like when Tank came on !!)
And on that note when do you start contract negotiations Big Lad ? I for one (and certainly Mrs Wildy Ears) want to see you in the stripes next season.

No-one has said he is crap, but he does tend to run round in circles and doesn't produce much of an end product.

If he could get that killer instinct he would be quality in both this division and league one

Judging by page 50 of the Daily Mirror there's not much chance of that, not the best way to find out if true
