The most curious thing..
They have been playing Xmas "songs" in the local chav shopping mall for what seems like weeks now already. Not even carols - just "Wishing it could be ****ing Xmas every ****ing day".

My friends and I will go carol singing. But not until the 22nd & 23rd December. Then you're allowed to go and collect money for charitee. Also means that we can take advantage of all the 'christmas cheer' i.e. pissed people in the pubs.

No doubt it does the economy some good, what with all that extra spending
Putting people deeper into debt and making them feel thety have to buy people presents they do not want. This year my brother (who is as tight as f***) will be getting back the bar of toblerone he bought me last year!!
No one is forcing people to buy others present. Ok, there are strong influences, but it's ultimately their decision.
