I opened this thread just before work with Ernest's opening post. TBF it wasn't his greatest post. I came back from work and saw it had grown to 9 pages

Some top fishing and it just amazes me how many people keep falling for the joke. He has a good angle for trolling. It works well and doesn't contain the venom of

say a Withdean Wanderer or Mr Burns post/thread. Some people on this forum need to lighten up.

I think the people who are getting 'caught' are the ones trying to define the theme and the people "caught".

Ernest is a troll. Hence a lot of the humour is in the responses he gets, the JCLs going nuts for example. If he is on the rare occaision funny then thats a plus but its not what its about.

Most on here know who Dick Tight, Lapdog, clipboard kid, mcgoo etc are and treat it as the tawdry pantomime that it is.

HKFC definatly rose to the bait which has made this thread entertaining.

If you say so chap. I'd personally suggest that trying to defend Dick Tight's* honour, would be 'rising to the bait', and that pointing out how dull it all is, is far from it.

The thing is Ernest's joke, whilst staying the same, has also evolved. He has taken us from his massive ARS protests at Withdean, to his support for Rustle SALAD, and then through to the Amex via his tricycle.
