If we were genuinely interested in Soler, it was definitely a DeZerbi pick. Older than we'd ideally want, on huge wages, signed from a beeeg club - RDZ all over it.

Very much doubt there is anything in this.

We’ve signed Welbeck, Lallana, Milner etc, all recently on big salaries from big clubs, all of whom are older than him…

No , we were down on midfield players last season , I would of thought we need at least one more two if Gross leaves
