Looks like he want off with a head injury whilst playing for Cameroon.

Hopefully nothing serious but wonder if the concussion protocol will see him miss the weekend?

He's absolutely outstanding isn't he? Strong, fast, skillful, great tackler and he's only 20. The sky is the limit for this lad.

Absolute quality.

Also serves as a reminder how we all need to be patient with these raw teenage talents we sign. I remember him receiving criticism at times... but he's quickly developing into our next £100m+ player.

Looked world class today, without exaggeration.

Considering the unbelievable pressure our new system puts on the number 6, he was excellent today. I still think I’d have kept Gilmour for that position and played Baleba further forward, but it is what it is.

????

I genuinely don’t know how anyone could criticise any aspect of his performance?!

Was on a completely different level to every other player on the pitch!

Ooff.
He was levels above EVERY player on the pitch.

I’m not saying he was bad. But I wasn’t the only one groaning about some of his play, so were some of the folk about me. It’s ok to think he was both great and frustrating in parts, there were more than a few of his passes went straight to Ipswich players.

I'm inclined to agree. He looked a bit at a loss as to how to distribute the ball once his physicality had earnt him tons of space. Once he improves this (this is a very coachable asset), he will be amazing.
