Top class in the minutes he got
All he can do is play that well when on the pitch and work hard in training and at some point you’ll put the manager in a position where he can’t not put you in from the start. His time will come.He can both be exceptional plus change games AND not be ready for 90 mins every week. That said I think he should be playing a lot more than 15 mins in 2 matches. Am sure his gametime will creep up and all for the good. Whilst keeping Milner or similar rested and fit.
First handful of games under a new coach and system are the time for experienced heads who pick up the new system quickly. But that shouldn't be as important over time.
I can’t understand how he gets the ball off the opposing players so many times when he has so much ground to make up. Not sure I’ve ever seen a player as good as he is at that.
Saw that think it was FernandezJust before the final whistle he shifted one of the United players away from the ball in a manner befitting an NFL Linebacker. How the ref didn’t give a free kick is a mystery
I still think Bissouma was the king at that. He would race back a couple of yards behind the oppo with the ball and miraculously steal it.Caicedo used to steal the ball when it looked impossible
Mark Lawrenson perhaps?I can’t understand how he gets the ball off the opposing players so many times when he has so much ground to make up. Not sure I’ve ever seen a player as good as he is at that.
Subbed off on 79 minutes so possibly notSaw that think it was Fernandez
