I couldn't believe he's been on the bench the last couple of games having been the best player for (I think) 3 in a row. & when he came on - what a difference. Quick, strong, can turn, pase & shoot (& dance). Absolute quality

Well thankfully we can't sell them all in the summer, but it looks like Baleba, Verbruggen and Joa Pedro could all attract massive offers, and the outfield players could well be our next £100 million players.

There was a moment in the second half when he outmuscled Haaland and then just ran away from him. Anyone got a clip of this?
His turns on the ball under pressure are absolutely key to our game. Really replaced Macallister who was our previous best exponent of this art form. He basically outmuscles 3 or 4 players at a time. Like Hobbits trying to bring down a cave troll.

I was a bit worried about our spending £200m this summer but you can see that the BHAFC club coffers will be getting another too up soon enough. Just going to enjoy this ride.

First name on the team sheet when fit surely. And how strong are we in midfield currently 🥰
Ayari and Hinshelwood dominated Liverpool's midfield last week and then held their own today against City.

That was without Baleba, O'Riley, Wieffer and Moder who are all at least capable midfielders*

* Opinions may differ on Wieffer and Moder

Certainly think Baleba could be, and some of the others not far behind in value.

You’ll just have to believe it or not but at half time @Papa Lazarou called that substitution and @Bozza and I nodded in sage agreement.

He was absolutely incredible. I’m hopeful that in time and with fitness, Baleba and O’Riley can be the new Caicedo and MacAllister.

Better than Mac.
