Really like the use of Monster

How about

Who's that now winning the ball
Carlos Baleba, Carlos Baleeeba
Who's that now scoring a goal
Carlos Baleba, Carlos Baleeeba
Yeah, that's way better than my half-arsed attempt!

It's madness to consider anything other than to the tune of I'm a Believer. (even Lineker and Shearer were using it on MOTD)
We've been given a tap-in which we really shouldn't miss.

It needs to be started and learnt on the concourses of the away matches so we at least have a core of fans that know it when it comes to trying to get it going at the Amex.

Who's that running through your midfield
Carlos Baleba, Carlos Baleeebaa
Todd he's gonna cost you 200 mill
Carlos Baleba, Carlos Baleeebaa

And then he stole the ball,
He's Carlos Baleba,
Breaking fast
And heading for goal,
I'm in love
With Carlos Baleba,
Our midfield king, in full control!

Macarena...

Signed from Lille B we never saw him coming
Nicknames the Beast a player that is cunning
Fast as a train and never stops a running
Carlos Baleba

I'm a believer - Monkees

I only go to France for frogs and tasty snails
I didn't think there was much there for me

Moises left a big gap
That's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all my dreams

[Chorus]
Then I saw his face, It's Carlos Baleba
He's got pace, a footballing mind
What a find (ooooh), Carlos Baleba
And I believe that he will thrive.

Why not just sing the original lyrics to the song, except with his name instead of "I'm a believer", and maybe change the last line to "you're so fine" or something like that?

Sometimes I think you big burly blokes are a bit too worried about declaring your love for a footballer in song.

It's 2024, guys, nobody's judging :)

I thought love was only true in fairytales
Made for someone else, but not for me
Love was out to get me
That's the way it seemed
Disappointment haunted all my dreams

Then I saw your face
It's Carlos Baleba
Not a trace
Of doubt in my mind
I'm in love ooooooh Carlos Baleba
Carlos Baleba, you're so fine

We really need a better song for Mitoma too
"My Sharona"

Hoo, my little speedy one, my speedy one
When you gonna give me some time, Mitoma?
Hoo, you make a tricky run, a tricky run
Gunna get to the byline, Mitoma

Never gonna stop, give it up, such a clever mind
You always make the right touch, you were quite a find
My, my, my, aye-aye, woo!

M-m-m-my Mitoma

Or, alternatively, if we must adapt the lyrics

I thought love was only true in fairytales
Not for us in Sussex by the Sea
Thanks to f*****g Chelsea
Nicking all our team
Disappointment haunted all our dreams

Then I saw your face
Oh Carlos Baleba
Not a trace
Of doubt in my mind
I'm in love OOOOOOOOOH
Carlos Baleba
Carlos Baleba
You're so fine

We really need a better song for Mitoma too
Copa cabanna

We've got Kaoru, Kaoru Mitoma
The hottest winger in Europa
We love Kaoru, Kaoru Mitoma
His wing play and scoring will get us all roaring at the Aaaaamex
Kaoru we love

Winner. No need to reinvent the wheel.
Forest have modest changes to Mull of Kintyre, Stoke not alot if any changes to Delilah.

The only change they've made is that it isn't a knife he has in his hand
