I like the style of this rumour. No noddy photoshopped picture of the lad wearing our shirt, no YouTube video with shit music or amateur voice over, no barely understandable text translation and no twat called Fab. The slightly wonky and grainy photo with the "I dont know who this guy is" vibe is just perfect.

10/10
9/10. For 10/10 it would also require the tracking of a random private jet from somewhere within 100 miles of where the player is coming from to somewhere within 100 miles of the Amex.

Another smokescreen to show clubs we won’t be over charged for their players? Surely given the money we have, how long we’ve known a replacement will be needed, and RDZs comments about wanting a top player, something will be sorted…. Our first European season, it would be a massive balls up if we went in half baked.
No smoke screen it’s happened before. If we don’t up the anti we will be in trouble especially with Europe this season too.

Do you mean the Beachy Head Chaplaincy? A fantastic charity and self-financing organisation that engages with hundreds of distressed people every year, and has saved countless lives. I made a will last year and left a chunk to them. They deserve it.
I was walking up there a couple of weeks ago and they turned up to talk to some poor sole on the edge

Maybe but do you know we will given that it’s 8 days to go ? Everyone knew we wanted one all bloody summer why wait until 8 days to go u less your penny pinching ? Can’t have it both ways
No of course I don't. My point is we can moan when the window has shut and we all know if we've signed someone or not. Up until that point slagging the club for not having signed a certain position already is just needy whining IMO.

Be interesting to see whether he starts tonight, for Lille.
At the pre match presser the Lille manager states that he may go before the end of the window, whereas he is more confident of retaining their star striker, Jonathan David.

While I understand the point that we need to wait till the window closes unlike with Potter RDZ is far more outspoken. He said he wanted an ‘important’ midfield signing should Caicedo go and one other position. He’s made his position very clear and so with two months of the window gone and just a week left I think people are entitled to feel a little uneasy at the mood music coming out of Naylor et al.
