The most curious thing..
The 1970 Brazil team was the most flair side ever.

Up there with the very greatest Brazilians and my word has that country produced some breathtaking talent for the whole world to enjoy, we owe a debt of gratitiude to Alberto and the entire footballing nation for what they've done for our game.

Sad news, my favourite goal ever. Favourite World Cup as well. England even had a great team!

The first world cup I remember watching - and the best thanks to that wonderful Brazil team.

That Brazil side were the harlem globetrotters of football. That world cup was my first and I fell in love with football in 1970.

RIP to a man whose name truly deserves to live on.

RIP

Not only one of the greatest defenders ever he was also in a team of talent the like collectively we may never see again.

Also scored the best ever team goal.
