It must be quite exciting for you Albion fans as it's not that often you get this far in the Carling Cup. A 2nd round tie at Selhurst Park will be like a cup final to you. We are due to give a team a good hiding so fingers crossed Palace V Brighton comes out of the bag !:thumbsup:

32 clubs are already through to the Second Round of the Carling Cup, with eight more teams battling it out later to be in tonight's draw.

The second round sees the majority of Premier League sides joining the competition.As is usual clubs competing in European competition will join the competition in the third round, however Manchester City - who qualified for the UEFA Cup courtesy of the fair play league - will feature in Round Two as the competition rules determine that a maximum of 8 clubs can receive a bye to Round 3.

The draw, which takes place live on Sky Sports 2, following Wycombe Wanderers' match with Birmingham City, will see 24 seeded clubs take on 24 unseeded teams.

So far 22 of the seeds have been decided, with the other two depending on tonight's results, they are as follows.

6 Crystal Palace

9 Hull City

A pre-draw will take place prior to the main draw to determine whether the unseeded clubs will be home or away.Ties will be played during the week commencing August 25th.

Hardly a cup final mate. Cup finals are usually played at half decent grounds in decent surroundings. That rules Selhurst and Croydon out straight away.

I don't want to play Palace away anyway, just imagine the queue's at the doctors surgery's when we are waiting for all our jabs before traveling to the disease ridden shithole of yours.
