Aug 11/12 - Swansea (away) Carling Cup win on penalties
Aug 15 - home in the League
Aug 22 - Carlisle (away)
Aug 25/26 - Middlesbrough (away) Carling Cup

What you think of the draw. I was elated when I found out it was Brighton against my Swans, but then found out it was in Wales

Bad draw for us and all round. Very few derby matches other than Barnet vs Watford.

Nice stadium though, It'll be better than ours as there looks to be a great deal more of thought gone into the design (mind you, they've had plenty of time to look at it!)

Yes he is with us, but more commonly referred to now as Kevin Mclard, due to the fact he looked constantly out of shape, unfit or injured. Looked great in pre season but didnt deliver last year, showed in glimpses that he has great ability crossing the ball so hopefully he will be a changed player. Hows things at Swansea, reports i heard that many players want to leave now martinez has left.

Everythings a bit up in the air now that we haven't a manager in place. Rumour is either Paul Ince, Poyet or Gary Speed are being lined up. That should prevent an exodus of players (except our Spanish contingent)
I'm looking forward to the new season now, even though Martinez has done a dirty on us after promising to stay for ever
.Being in Brighton means I can probably get to see a few midweek London fixtures - we had plenty last season, knowing my luck we'll have nothing when the fixtures are out tomorrow

Sometimes, after a couple of good seasons then the manager goes, teams can run out of steam. maybe Swans will have a slow start and we can pull off an unlikely shock.
