Carling Cup Final

Well after a week of heated build up the day has finally arrived and I for one can't wait.

The 2nd biggest occasion in the English Football calender and the showpiece occasion of the football league, and it promises to be an absolute corker.

:clap2:

Where is everyone watching it and what to people think the outcome will be??

We're having a Carling Cup party at our local in Lyme Regis, with Carling at half price during the game and I am predicting a narrow 2-1 victory for Chelsea.

Come on Spurs! Watching it in Cuckfield with my brother, who's a Spurs fan.

Really looking forward to it

How is it the showpiece occasion of the football league?

Anyway, I would very much like to see TOTTENHAM win:clap:

It's the League Cup, it's a football league tournament and they don't really get any bigger than this.

The FA trophy is taken more seriously. I honestly couldn't care less who wins today and I probably wont even bother watching.

You'll be in a minority then Clay. The opportunity for both managers to claim their first silverware for their clubs and a European place for the winner just adds extra spice to the occasion if it were needed. Most football fans have been looking forward to this game all week.

I must move in the wrong circle of fans then, because none of the several I have spoken to this week have mentioned it.

Indeed. Only Chelsea and Spurs fans interested in this - and all the closet Spurs fans on NSC.

It's so 'important' there's a Premier League match on at the same time.
