Cardiff's new stadium opened last night

I think that you'll find the build quality at Reading is much better. The suggestion seems to be that Cardiff's new ground has been thrown up as quickly & cheaply as possible.

See Natterjack's previous posts on the Blue, corrugated perspex cladding etc at the new Ninian ...

Spot on

The thing is, with modern stadia it is easy to build additional capacity (at a cost) but unless you fill the seats you end up with a crap atmosphere (see Southampton). The Falmer stadium is perfect for top half championship football AT LEAST, & you have the build design and room for expansion if required.

Don't envy Cardiff please, it makes me physically sick at the thought :nono:

As for comparing the Liberty, it's close but I think Falmer will just edge it.

That's why.

To be fair our stadium will be truly breathtaking. It has character, room for expansion and looks by far one of the more unique stadiums in the country let alone the lower leagues. Cardiff fans will be green with envy when they come to play us in the near future :albion2:

Whereas we owe one man considerably more-thankfully in a different way but nonetheless we still owe it.

He's not that likely to take us to court unlike Cardiff's bankers though is he ?
