if your unhappy somewhere, your form will naturally drop, and he was clearly unhappy at the posh, i dont think he would sign for cardiff knowing he is back-up, so i reckon a strong pre season behind him and he will be good

I cannot believe the slating he is getting, he is a massive improvement on what we have and I would have seen his signing as a good indication of a very productive summer of top championship signings being made.

I think the way Peterborough play, your goalkeeper needs to be confident and in form otherwise you'll struggle because he gets no protection whatsoever. Lewis will prove a lot of people wrong once he breaks into the Cardiff team and stays there. Bold prediction, but I have faith. Very good goalkeeper.

Surely they would have been better off keeping Heaton?
Wanted regular first team football, which is understandable really - considering how well he performed in the Carling Cup, only to remain Marshall's understudy in the league. No idea where he'll go - you could argue we're the strongest team he could go to where he'd be comfortably the best keeper in the squad.

Lewis is a joke of a keeper. Massively rated for no reason what so ever. I think he cost p'boro in excess of 15 points on his own this season with his errors.

Not to mention the season before. Fumble after fumble in the promotion run-in.

Think he has potential to be a top champ keeper but perhaps over hyped before that. Clearly wasn't happy. Think he's a David James type immense one day then has a howler rather than a steady keeper. Would have been an upgrade over what we have now but Heaton would be too! Heaton be safer bet but would say Lewis had more upside IF he developed fully. Great pick up for them on a free but see how it goes. They can afford a gamble as have a great keeper already, we would want the reliable Heaton given choice of two I'd think as not alot else that's top half champ.

I have to say I'd rather have Heaton... this is one area we must improve on (there are others)...
