I actually like cardiff as a City and they have done a great job regenerating it. Its a shame they didnt tell that to the hominidal maniac neanderthals who still "support" them.

You're living in the past Dave - it has got progressively better over the years and on our last visit we even ventured to a local drinking spot for a few pre-match beers. No sign of bother despite being very obviously from the other side of the bridge.
The visit before that I took (a then 2 year old) Mads. I wouldn't have done that had I believed it was unsafe to me or her in any way, shape or form.

a good few years ago now.
having been attacked in the car park and having bricks thrown at us when leaving the ground I am afraid my views on cardiff are tainted by those episodes.....but hey, life is too short anyway so why spend my time on this spinning globe going to places I wish to avoid.
Its akin to eating something that you really hated when you were a kid....say porridge.....now it may have been all bitter and horrible and made you sick in the past, but no matter how they try to say its now fabulous with apple, sugar and cream flavours etc etc, you know deep down in your psyche its still horrible.
