It makes you realise how shallow our squad is when you look at Cardiff's attacking talent. They've also got some Slovenian they paid £2m for.

I don't think our squad is too shallow. We need a back up striker and perhaps a centre mid with Sparrow, Vincelot and Harley possibly leaving but we have ALOT of attacking talent ourselves.

Matches anything they have really.

I thought Marshall made some quality saves in their opening game against Huddersfield. I hope we can test him much more severely tonight.

And Bellamy. He was Liverpool's match winner in the Carling Cup last season at the Amex, IMHO.

This has all the ingredients to be a stonking game of football, only 6 or so hours to kick off

Marshall in goal is good.

The central defence pairing is the best in the Championship although the Hull pairing run them close. Hudson.
Full backs are good at defending.

Whittington in midfield could play in the Premier and in my Championship team of the season for last year.

Mason looks innocuous but always seems to be in the right position. Ignore him at our peril.

Bellamy largely right footed and over-rated. Expect Bruno to shepherd him to go across the goal if he plays on the left side where instead of running into the channels he will shoot from distance and if he is given too much room he might come close.

Whittingham plays best as the central player in a classic 4-3-3.

Helguson- Has a knack of scoring with his head
Earnshaw- On his day can be deadly

Im not convinced about there defence but either way its a must win game if we are challenging for promo as they will be up there come april/may!
