Pound to a penny it'll be YMCA and "Will you please return to the turnstile where your boyfriend is waiting for you."

Shouldn't think so. He's a bit brighter than your average PA announcer. He was on form again yesterday. Played 'Part of the Union' by the Strawbs just before kick off. It may be over 20 years ago, but they still remember the miners strike down here.....

On the terraces!!
didn't some of our fans also try to smash one of the cardiff coaches when they were down at the ever so intimidating Withdean!:jester:

i am sure it weren't the f***ing soul crew's bus as i am pretty sure they'd have stopped the coach and weaved the brick throwers into the tarmac.
however, it may make for some interesting times up there next month!

hmmmmmmmmm:glare:

i'm sure it'll all be fine, and the tense suroundings will make for a better atmosphere!!

ooh f*** it who am i trying to kid....
i am going for the TERRACES!!!!!!!:lolol:

Not sure about that, but he did play 'London's Burning' by the Clash and 'My Old Man's A Dustman' by Lonnie Donnegan.

Has he ever played the Sheep-sheep song by Cher?

Not that I'm aware of. But he did used to play sheep noises over the tannoy at regular intervals.

Last time I went I had a carriage full of Cardiff fans chucking head rests at me. Having said that - big game. I wanna be there. Plus this PA announcer sounds funny. :jester:

He dedicated the next two songs to 'our brothers from the West', and said he hoped that the game would mark the beginning of a new era of peace and understanding between the two sets of supporters. He then played 'Money's Too Tight To Mention' and 'Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves.'

Expect to hear some Simple Minds if the Albion manage to mention the A&K fund then.

I have an exam that Friday and one on the next Monday, so I can't go. Pity, as its the one game I can easily and cheaply get to - 30 quid flight or three hour long mindfuckingly boring ten quid train journey, six hour ten quid ferry and three hour 10 quid train journey away.

Definitely going, can't wait to hear what Ali plays in our honour, whoever said that football had lost its sense of humour. Call me a coward but I won't be wearing my colours and will definitely go by train, based on previous horror stories I don't fancy going anywhere near their car park.

I believe the car park situation has improved greatly since your last visit. I'm pretty sure there is now a seperate visitors section - there certainly is for coaches and vans, but I'm not sure about cars.

I'll be speaking to the copper who is now in charge of policing at Ninian Park in the next couple of weeks (probably at the Leeds away game). I'll provide more information when I have it.
