I've sent an e-mail to the Premier League asking them to reconsider the decision of imposing a monetary fine when a 30 points deduction would have been more appropriate as a punishment.

I think the fact the whole CPFC squad was unchanged from the previous 1 or 2 games suggests that this was more or less a storm in a tea cup and The FA dished out a pointless fine to keep Cardiff from moaning further.

As someone else has already said, I very much doubt whatever happened made a huge difference, Cardiff were absolutely abysmal that day got rightly beaten.

Let's be honest they would have turned Cardiff over anyway, they were useless last year,

40 points is safety, that's worth about £333,333, for the £50m the premiership offers!

Glad they haven't got away with this blatant cheating. Not surprised by their actions of course (Croydon at its finest). This now makes their season staying up last season completely void for not playing by the rules.
