I'd normally agree but there seems to be something genuinely going on here. They got 26k for their last home game of last season so to drop by half - especially as they're second now - seems a bit odd and smacks of them doing something wrong. Suspect the OP wanted to know what rather than gloat and I'm not sure there's a "normal" reason for losing half your fans in four months.

Bet they turn up here mob handed on 3 Oct still though.

However, a quick read and it's obvious that they are losing most of their STHs which are now down to 10,000. Let's move on shall we?

I remember Cardiff getting average crowds of 11,000/12,000 when they were in league 2 with us (1999/2000) I guess the Premiership filtered out the casual fans once relegated.
