My mate is in the queue, reckons there’s no chance he’ll get in on time (came straight from work) - his words; “do I not like that” along with a picture of a huge snaking queue.

Sounds a bit of a mess, as we all predicted to be fair

Got to ground at 5.30. In ground at 6.40. At one point there were two merged queues, one for dupes and one waiting for turnstiles to open with a third for people who’s tickets hadn’t yet been reprinted.

Could well be a delayed kickoff here

From the Charlton forum;

‘Some very upset Brighton fans lining up in the cold to collect their tickets. At least they're getting a taste of our shambles... some seem to be keen to put the blame on their own club though.’

Just saying….
Haven’t been following this as closely as most, clearly, but how can this possibly be Charltons fault?

Didn’t send any duplicate tickets down to Brighton - only the allocation.

Just absolutely woeful from Charlton and the Met Police. So many staff not doing anything. Four staff in mobile ticket office getting abuse and being worked off their feet.
No organisation.
No dynamic risk assessment.
No one taking responsibility.

The whole thing was a complete shambles.
Joined the queue at 6:20. Got to the front at 8:00.
Ticket wasn’t printed so joined the next queue to get it printed.

Then told to go to another ticket office (different from the one on the email) to get a new ticket. 15 mins in that queue and finally got my hands on it.

Charlton saying it was Brighton’s fault, Brighton saying it was Charlton’s fault. I wonder if a higher up from either club can explain that s*** show?

Customers not fans.
