no increase. frankly if this sort of silliness makes people older cars rather than splurge on the latest new model, i think it will do us a favour.

What does "first year" mean in 2010. Mine is £270 for 12 months by then but says £485 "first year" as well. Does that mean that if I bought a new car (with lower CO2 emissions than my old one) I would pay a premium of £200 for the pleasure? Hardly very green is it?
