I was wondering if anybody does the above or knows someone who does.

My son's car is all but dead, drives along in a shuddery way but won't make it through the MOT next month.

Ideally looking for someone to come and collect, did some online quotes that offered a couple of hundred quid.
He also has a set of spare wheels and a number of tyres that are quite new so hopefully they may be worth a few quid.

Thanks for the help! Based in Worthing

I believe these scrap guys break down the cars and sell parts on eBay for a tidy profit.

Unfortunately I can't remember their name, but when my I scrapped my old Mondeo I had no trouble in finding a firm to come and take it away. (I'm in Brighton, I think they were in Portslade).

I got £250 for it, which was only £50 less then We Buy Any Car had quoted me a few months earlier!

A few years ago my lovely little StreetKa failed its MOT bigtime. I googled We-Scrap-Any-Car, and got a better price than We Buy Any Car offered.

P.S. 'We Buy Any Car' isn't actually true; they don't - tried to get a price on my brother's 1949 Rover a few weeks ago, and they said it didn't exist (it does; insured, MOT'd and road legal).
