car insurance short term

selling my motor, elephant SUCK and dont allow short term insurance so come Aug 7th i'm out. Anyone know which insurance dudes allow about 1 months insurance? ta muchly

Norwich Union will do it for up to 28 days, online only. Haven't used it myself, mind, so I don't know if it's any good.

A few years ago I was in the same situation and used a company called Budget. They did monthly rather than yearly insurance and were quite reasonably priced as far as I remember. Can't remember web or phone numbers though

Bloody hell! I'll try and find out who my sister insured with when she borrowed my car - that was only £12 for the month.

We've used Kwik Fit insurance when we needed 16 days cover, it was something like £24 for 28 days if I remember rightly.

Apparently my sister is with Direct Line, so I assume that's who she sorted out her short term cover with.
