Get yourself one of those tape adaptors with an earphone spike onthe end so you can plug your ipod/mp3 player into the car. Thats what I do, I'd be buggered with a car CD player.
That is presuming you have an ipod/mp3 player, if you haven't then I apologise as this won't be very helpful!
Zef's just put one in the Cortina - and if you're lucky enough to be driving by next time I drive it, just open your window as I'M RIPPING THE f***ing THING OUT AND THROWING IT OUT THE WINDOW.....DID A 1963 Mk1 CORTINA HAVE A CD PLAYER?? NO? WELL WHY DID YOU PUT IT IN!!
(There I've said it - I hate anything thats not original)
You want an 8-track TB. My ex-brother-in-law had a metallic gold cortina mk2, complete with leopard skin furry seat covers, fluffy dice, and an 8-track car stereo. To an impressionable 8 year old, it well cool.
OK I have a CD player and FM/AM radio in our car - how would I get a personal MP3 player to play in the car ?
FM transmitter, about 20 notes in any electrical shop.
