Car CD players

Having just purchased a new car, it only has a Cassete stereo in. Does anyone know the cheapest placeto buy one from is?

Our car has only got cassette player too - but we just bought one these thingys and plug an MP3 player in instead

Get yourself one of those tape adaptors with an earphone spike onthe end so you can plug your ipod/mp3 player into the car. Thats what I do, I'd be buggered with a car CD player.

That is presuming you have an ipod/mp3 player, if you haven't then I apologise as this won't be very helpful!

I'll third the cheapo tape converter thing: the sound quality's not bad at all

You want an 8-track TB. My ex-brother-in-law had a metallic gold cortina mk2, complete with leopard skin furry seat covers, fluffy dice, and an 8-track car stereo. To an impressionable 8 year old, it well cool.

I bought one of the cassete adapters and it makes a funny noise!

Fair enough it was from the pound shop

Also bought an F.M. Transmitter for my iPod. Just taking an age to arrive!

£6 on eBay, only thing is they are mainly from Hong Kong and take a while for delivery
