Who do you lot rekon will wear the arm band next season? or who should...?

for me, i would love to see thompson get it, i feel he done a good job when Forster went off last season.

Elphick is another that i would like, but feel he might be a little unexperianced.

And as for Forster, Nothing against the lad, but feel the captain should'nt be a striker.

Fozzy, why take it off him ???

I'd rather have a striker being captain than a goalkeeper.

Thompson will probably be a good shout IF we really see the best of him next season , he is in the perfect position for it

people will say Elphick and probably have a point but personally i still don't think he is experienced enough to be captain , it'll be too much, too soon.

Probably Thompson followed by Forster. But as Dougal says, we need many vocal players in the team. Just because they haven't got the arm band doesn't mean they can't shout at people.

forster for me. he's our best player, very experienced and a leader on the pitch. Also I think one of the suggestions, Steve Thomson, has to improve a lot next season to even guarantee a starting place

Nicky Forster is a great captain. Masses of experience. Really impressed with the way he represents the club off the pitch. On the pitch you can can tell he cares, leads from the front and is vocal and encouraging to the other players. Knows when to keep quiet (Wilkins saga) and when to speak up (eg in his support of Murray). Reminds me of Paul Rogers.

Hawkins looks like he could be captain material, the 'strong character' write-ups look promising. We'll have to see.

Wouldn't give the job to Thomson. So far he's shown very little sign of being a natural leader on the pitch for us. I know he was captain at his last club, but that was then and this is now.

Brian Horton is an Albion legend for it, and AeA will be in his footsteps.

he looks like he is following in hortons footsteps by walking out as well

Horton could actually play... how can anyone compare him to the reserve centre back, El-Abd?
