The article states that the "average" wealth of the top 1% is $2.7m = £1.8m, which in these days of inflated property prices, is not all that much. Probably quite a few, on here, in that category.

We need to get a few into the top Forty :whistle: a lot of our wealthy guys do put a lot into charity like Bill Gates . I don't mind self made Billionaires however you can't take it with you but you could do some good in the world. Capitalism vrs Socialism which works!

To re-iterate something I mentioned earlier in this thread, if someone has net assets of 500k (including equity held in your house) or more then they are in the 1%.

If you have more than 50k you are in the top 10%.

For many of those people who think this is a problem, consider this... you are part of the problem.
