With those plans can certainly see some bigger crowds next season. Palace, West Ham, Stains, Forest and Leeds would all have brought more in the South had the capacity existed. Add to that the view from the upper library and we should regularly have 25k next year.

Minus approx. 2000 stayaways each game of course!

The real test will be season ticket renewals next season. What we can't have is people walking away because we didn't get to the premiership this season. This is the problem with some and I say some football supporters these days.

As an example look at MK Dons attendances. Nice stadium, nearly top of league one and yet they still fail to get an attendance of over 10k, what does this tell you about their support?

People need to understand that if we continue to fill that stadium, the more money we will have to bring in new players and keep the same standard of football at The Amex.

We have a large catchment area unlike other clubs, a new stadium, a new sense of pride and we need to keep this going.

I look at these new attendances with pride. Over the last few weeks the atmosphere at The Amex has been brilliant.

Tells me they are a bunch of plastic franchise wankers.

That's true. They are a completely fabricated club with no history or fanbase. Hardly comparable to us. We've had relative success,a rich history and a large, until now, sleeping fanbase. Some people are glory Hunters, every successful club has them, that's inevitable, but we have a real chance of making real new fans with all the kids that are now able to enjoy our top-notch stadium. It helps that we are also at our highest league position for nigh on twenty years!

There is no need for a test, with away often selling out, with match tickets selling out, with seasons sold out, with corporate sold out any capacity increase at this level will be absorbed up to 30k, premier 40k, champions league 50k, Messi 60k...get building

We have the highest percentage of possible attendance in the league (it's something like 85% of our possible attendance shows up) if that reassures you
