Any tips for arranging a holiday to Canada? (Vancouver)
Never done anything like this before
We had three weeks there about 5 years ago, absolutely fantastic.
A few days in Vancouver (public transport)...
Ferry to Vancouver Island, pick up car...
Day or two in Victoria, then drive to Port Hardy at top of island...
A day there, remote and beautiful, ditch car, get on ferry to Prince Rupert...
On train, travel to - as I recall, Prince George...
Pick up another car, drive through Icefields, Banff, Kamloops, Clinton, Okanagan Valley and back to Vancouver.
Wonderful walks, rafting etc along the way.
Did B&B's all the way round via Booking.com - amazing value and delightful hosts...
