Watford are SPACKERED.

They've got rid of an excellent striker in Webber, brought in a bloke with NO managerial experience other than youth & reserves, and their chairman has competely lost it. Get this (re the appointment of Boothroyd)...

"What we did do was say if we're going to have a young manager lets put a wise old owl there as well, so we bought in Keith Burkinshaw. If you've ever spoken to Keith and looked at what he has achieved, he's a winner."

"He'll sit on Adrian's shoulder, question everything he does - which is right - and I think we've got a good combination."

SO Boothroyds going to have owls sitting on his shoulders and EVERYTHING. Who would you rather have in the dugout...Mcghee and Booker, or Boothroyd, Burkinshaw and some owls ? We're going to finish above WATFORD I tells ya.

As if having an owl on your shoulder wasn't off putting enough, this owl must be a talking one. A talking owl who's going to "question everything he does"? How annoying is that going to be?

"Woo woo. Are you sure you want to play Helguson even though he isn't fit?"
"Woo woo. Do you really want two sugars in your tea?"
"Woo woo. Is it a good idea to take your wife in that position?"

Who get's priority in that set-up? Adrian, Keith or the Owl? Frankly i'd question what sort of knowledge any woodland creature could impart about Championship football, wise or not.

Good call for spotting this Easy. It looks like an absolute mess. Either that or a new comic strip adventure entitled "Adrian and his magic owl".

I'm sure there must be strict National Trust regulations about having endangered species in a dugout as well. And I'd have grave concerns about the owls behaviour if it caught sight of Nathan Jones's haircut, particularly during an evening game when its hunting instincts come to the fore. The owls thoughts would hardly be whether to advise Adrian on making a sub or to push an extra man up from midfield. It'd be thinking "There's a f***ing SQUIRREL on that welsh twats head. I'm f***ing HAVING that".

Its a receipe for disaster.

Rotherham is your only hope. Maybe you`ll get 4 more points.
Sometimes when you play a team that's already down, they play without any of the pressure that's been hanging over them. I am afraid i fear the worst now and another season without a Palace fixture:(

Well the team we have on Saturday weve already beaten this season, surely thats a cue for a little optimism ?

Not really, that was when we had some decent players with the right attitude, and they had that prat Micky Mouse as Manager! Now we have sold/injured/suspended most of our best players, and replaced them with - a cripple and 2 less that brilliant keepers.

It's between us, Watford and the Gills for the third relegation spot ... and agree we need to get 6 points from the 15 now available to have a chance.

All I hope is that come the last two games it is in our own hands and that we are not reliant on somebody else losing and us winning i.e a win for us will be sufficient irrespective of other results.

Rotherham is now looking more ominous as they have appointed Mick Harford as manager. Not a certain victory by any score as they can score goals but also let in a few but we do not score them.
