Can you reverse into a parking space with the radio or music on loud?

reading the texting thread made me think that although I reckon I'm quite a good driver I do not have the power to do other things whilst driving so maybe I'm actually fooling myself and I'm quite a shit driver.

I am unable to even CONTEMPLATE reversing into a parking spot with people yakking or with loud music on the radio or cd.

Anyone else have this problem or are you all Lewis Hamiltons?

I don't see how music in the background is going to affect my eyes, or my hands. That said, a thousand or so hours of DJing means I can ignore background noise fairly easily...

Can't say myself as I don;t drive, but Mrs P is constantly asking me to turn the music down if she is driving

Speaking of this you should have seen the BAFFOON who was trying to park by my car earlier. I actually took a seat on a nearby bench and watched as for at least 2 minutes she went forwards into a space about 5ft longer than her car and appeared to be absolutely PERPLEXED as to why no matter how hard she tried she just couldn't get closer than 3 feet from the kerb.

She ended up giving up, moving to the end of a nearly space that was at the back of a parking bay but was only 3/4 the length of her car, meaning she felt the need to park 2 inches from the car in front (even though she was still parked illegally), getting out of the car twice and moving closer after each check!

She was clearly foreign and probably driving over her on a Ugandan licence or something, no CLUE how to handle a car whatsoever. And before you ask, no, she did not have her music blaring

Reversing is definately not my strong point, In fact it's fair to say i'm bloody crap at it and if reversing into a parking space had been part of my driving test I never would've passed.

Just for the record I can park with music blaring but rest assured that if there are people around and I will be bringing attention to myself with the loud music, i turn it off just in case I park like a **** on that occasion!

If you are parking with music blaring out, you are already parking like a ****, regardless of the outcome of the manouevre.
