I used to love going to Mr K's.

I keep thinking that was The Gloucester, now the posh pub with lovely beer.

However, I seem to remember it was about 100 yards to the left??

I also remember it being on the actual Gloucester premises. It must have been - we were borrowing their dance floor, no?

That said - 35 years ago - my memory might be slightly hazy...

My memory is slipping also.

I used to work for NH Photographic in Hartington Road as an apprentice.

I did an 'official' photo shoot at the ripe old age of 16 years of Martin Shaw, then in in The Professionals, , at Mr K's.

Don't call it 'the Withdean...'
This

Why not? I know quite a few people from Brighton who always called it that.
Only when the Albion played there, not by people from Brighton beforehand.
The school I went to did our sports day there, nobody ever said "the Withdean "
I agree. Didn't know it was an issue. I'm going to the Withdean Stadium. Sounds better than I'm going t Withdean Stadium. Unless your from Yarkshire.
Eh? Going TO Withdean Stadium or down Withdean Stadium.
A TRUE Brightonian knows it is simply Withdean Stadium:rolleyes:
This
