Can we stop getting at Prescott?

My understanding is that both Inspectors said no, but that Big John is trying to give us it on a plate. I would guess that if Mr Collyer had said Yes then so would Prescott. But as he said no, he has to prove that all avenues have been explored before saying Yes.

The big mystery is why Collyer said No. It makes you lose any faith you may have had in due process.

Prescott is a dyed-in-the-wool democrat - his major underlying thought on the process would have been that the majority of the city wants it - so they should get it.

His track record has always been like this!

a true legend - well done sir:clap:

This will always be a problem when someone political is concerned. Being apolitical, I will criticise and praise when necessary - I have no Con, Lab or Lib tendencies. Some people have probably jumped on the anti Prescott bandwagon beause they are anti Labour or war or fat northeners.

We all know that he has only given a conditional Yes to save a couple of Labour MP's but who cares, he was quite within his rights to say No and there wouldn't have been an awful lot we could have done about it.

Like others, at first I wanted to wring his neck. That anger has shifted and I now want to wring the producers at SCR and Mrs Blue Rinse NIMBY.

Prescott has helped our cause no end. He's practically eliminated the possibility of a judicial revue.

Well done John. We'll name a stand after you after all:clap2:

Call me Mr Cautious if you like. Whatever Lord B or anyone else says, until the re-opened public enquiry concludes that Falmer is the only viable site, we have not actually won anything, no work is starting, nothing.

If I had an ounce of faith in the planning process I might be feeling better, but don't forget, this is the same process that gave us the silly Hoile report. So me, I am still cautious.
