Can we not have swear words in thread titles please

Im sure a high percentage of people look at NSC at work and swear words in thread titles makes it awkward.

I've never understood this tho - do people's bosses not mind them sitting on NSC all the time but would get offended by swear words if they saw them?!?!?! Serious question to everyone...

I think you can look on NSC on a break/ lunch etc without a problem but to see f**k in a thred title doesn't look good IMO

I often look at the site when my young lad is looking on, and it's not very nice for him.

I know I post using naughty words sometime, but never in the title.

It used to be an accepted standard on here. It should be enforced by the mods in my opinion. It isn't much to ask.

Fair point, I agree. You can't ban swearing completely but no need to have in the title.

What gets me is that lots of people are paranoid about having NSFW marked on threads, to protect them from their bosses, but apparently it's not also reasonable to have no swearing in the title to protect the kids who might be walking past your computer.

oohh ok rain tomorrow from about 7am to 3pm/4pm ish then should be dry for the rest of the night, sundays looking cloudy but dry

It was when I was ten, 20 years ago. But then, I've never been one to indulge too much unless telling a story/joke.

Though I agree about not swearing in the title.
