FDM should have been made MotM.

Richards wasn't bad tbf, a few dodgy moments at the beginning and he bottled one challenge, but made a great tackle when they were through to probably save a goal. Your right Michel should of got it though.

Normally a 0-0 draw at home merits the goalie getting MotM

3 quality point-saving saves, plus numerous other saves you'd expect him to make, but with better finishing could have been goals.

I think the comment about bad finishing puts it into perspective. Yes he made 3 or 4 important saves but they were all straight at him. Perhaps if he hadn't bored the pants of the crowd in the first half with his long kicking then he might have got the decision. Matt Richards did make a couple of great tackles.

Yeah, I wasn't saying Richards did badly. He was one of the better outfield players, but it was so glaringly obvious that Michel was the only one keeping us in that game. The sponsors must have been pissed.

Who were the sponsors?

For me and most sitting around where I sit there was only one obvious MOM and that was Matt Richards.

Kuipers made some more of his run of the mill saves that you expect your goalkeeper to make but as usual they looked flash.

Kuipers made some good saves in the second half which just about made up for his dismal kicking in the first half.

To be fair if I'd been asked to name a Brighton player as MOM I'd have stuggled.

The most class on the pitch came from their no.20
