I would agree with you Dave.


While we are at it why did Thornton come on and fluff about in the centre of midfield when he should be attacking the full back out wide.

I would guess because he is a central midfielder??

Thought Savage was good today. Did little wrong but not the creative force we need. Personally would have liked to see Savage and Thornton together in the middle from the start.

Sponsors don't give a shit about the Albion. They just want their photo taken with Robbie Savage. A bit pathetic, for sure, but not totally unexpected. Who cares? :shrug:

We're speaking from experience there Tom :thumbsup:

Actually I think that's a little unfair as most sponsors would be fans of the club giving money to the club in a tax efficient way that has the added benefit of a meal and a bit of a social before, during and afterwards. You can't even say the seats are the best in the house as I find the view from the North Stand a little too low.

It's certainly not for the advertising as in the three years as a friend of the albion, match sponsor, shirt sponsor and match ball sponsor I don't remember getting one piece of business as a result.
