How in the name of allthings holy, can they give Savage the MOM.

I think they must sit behind a pillar or something, because to give savage MOM is taking the piss.

He was as good as anyone out there today. I remember him making two mistakes but they all did. Surely giving him MOM encourages him want to help us.

It must be me then, because I fail to see what he brings to the side at the moment.

I thought he was one of our better players. Him, Murray and the centre-backs played well, the rest were utter cack

I would agree with you Dave.

As I have said on another thread I believe his legs have gone and he is just playing 3 or 4 yd balls and not bothering or being able to pick up the return as opposed to another 1 that oldies remember Denis Mortimer who playeda shiort pass and then ran on to do the same again if needed. If I wasa scout for either Birmingham or Bolton I wouldn't entertain him.

While we are at it why did Thornton come on and fluff about in the centre of midfield when he should be attacking the full back out wide.

I agree with Dave, i could not understand why on earth they chose him. Fair enough, no-one played that great today, but no way was Savage m.o.t.m.
I think he's past it, the only thing in my eyes he does is play 3-4 yard passes, which anybody could do if they wanted, it doesnt seem to get us anywhere. Would much rather have someone like Loft in the middle, who has the legs to run at defenders, maybe not terribly strong or good at tackling though. The two in the middle at the moment dont seem to get forward enough, there is no creativity, and no presence like when we had Hammond in that position.

To be fair to them it wasn't easy to pick a MOM today. He probably got because it was chosen by a load of people who don't normally go to Albion games and he was the only player they knew from watching MOTD.

I don't remember El-Abd doing much wrong today and I thought Murray gave it all he had.

FACT - Savage was voted man of the match because it's his birthday.

I'm surprised they had the cheek to award a MoM today. To suggest that the defence was good today is laughable as well, they weren't even tested.

He started off very well but I think towards the end of the first half and in the second he lost all motivation due to the way the rest of the team were playing.

He's got the attacking instinct of a Swiss army.

All he did was bollock anyone who so much as didn't pass the ball to him. I was annoyed when nobody gave him an earful when he kept losing it, can't believe that anyone would take the shit he gave out without responding when he did worse!
