Can ordinary working folk afford to seek justice?

Can ordinary working folk afford to seek justice?

Here's another example of how justice will most likely be denied to those of us at the bottom of the heap. Not that workers losing yet more rights under a Tory Government should surprise anyone, but here we go again anyway:

That's one of the reasons that I belong to a union.

Has he built over any sewerage access/assets? If so he will have needed a build over consent from your sewerage supplier.

It's unlikely he had applied for this if he has been as much of an arse as he has. The sewerage supplier has the right to order for the demolition of structures that have not been approved. This is rare though and he will probably only get a fine but may be worth reporting it as it will cost you no money.

Also, what is to stop you decreasing the size of your garage by a couple of inches, taking the part of the wall he has connected to with it?

Are you in full dispute with your neighbour? If so rather than court have you looked at alternative dispute resolution / mediation? Much cheaper

Solicitor is trying to negotiate at moment. Either to get garage removed or recompense for change of house status.

Had you thought about fitting a window in your garage wall, might give him something to think about & bring him to the negotiation table. You should be able to pick a nice big second hand one off of ebay for not much money ....

Very cunning :D
