We'll be in the Second division next season, but hopefully with a different manager!

Yes it does and it is hard to remain positive at times like this but we all have to reemeber that as a Brighotn fan you have to take the rough with the smooth.

You cant make excuses for playing crap football all because we have 2 keepers injured!!

So a young non league keeper that the defenders feel nervous about doesn't affect the team?

I don't think we can blame McGhee for what's happening at present. It always takes a new manager a while to sort things out and get the team playing the way he wants them to.

no team in this division could afford to lose players of the quality of jolly, blackwell, first 2 keepers, piercy, and they are just the long term casualtys nevermind short term injuries and 4 game suspension etc. the list goes on. then there is change of manager and distracting campaign for a new ground. we cannot win championships every season. i know things are a little dissappointing but if we whinge too much then no one will be sympathetic towards us or the falmer situation.

Yes and even if he can't we cannot afford to pay compensation so he will stay whatever :p

As mentioned before he is lucky in a way because Falmer is a distraction so he can get away with a poor league form.

Have you considered though that Falmer is affecting the players and hence the performances and hence the results ???

the worst result for us recently has to be the 2-0 at luton, it was effectively a game in hand over a few other clubs around us and a win would have seen us in a much healthier position and set the tone for grimsby who have been somewhat of a bogey for us in recent times.........i don't agree with "the football is not important at the moment" sentiments, pissing away a play off position is not good in anyones language.:nono:

High up on the South Downs.
I'm all for this season being a transition. The big transition has got to be getting rid of Oatway who is out of his depth. He was on his way out when we won this div 2 years ago and he was amazingly given a new contract by Dick Knight. Since then the new managers haven't had the bottle to send him off to non league football where he belongs. Sadly Dean Hammond who deserves a break is kept out by Charlie - a hard man who can't tackle!

We are now in relegation form - from top of the league to mid league position.

The players are the bloody same !!

If we are going to rebuild then play the youngsters - good decision to play Robinson.

My issues with Mcgee are:

There seems to be no sense in his team selections - even allowing for injuries.

Why did he bring in Benjamin? the guy has no skill whatsoever.
Why is McPhee not given a chance - we were better with him in the team FACT
Why not bring in an attacking midfielder when that is so obviously needed.
Why do we put a central defender (Virgo) at right back (did OK)and then in midfield when we have a midfielder proven in Div 3 this season (Hammond) who was on the bench at Luton but not even on the bench at Grimsby. I saw the guy at Watford last season and he did well.
Where was Nathan Jones yesterday - not even on the bench.

Where is the motivational ability of our manager?

Etc Etc ETc Etc

Calm down Calm down

The football is probably a distraction at the moment

Come on Prescott - you know it makes sense
Please!:( :(

McGhee has got a good track record in this division, I am sure that he will eventually get things right. He's only on a two year contract, so to get rid of him now after criticising other managers for being disloyal would be very hypocritical.

If only he would stop playing players out of position and stop changing things all the time- this is something that Millwall fans warned us about.

How long did DK give Jeff Wood before he gave him the gooner?

How long did MH get before he was dumped?

Hopefully DK is having a look at our league form as well as Falmer and will see a bit of sense and get rid of MM.

He just doesnt seem to be able to motivate players, what was the point in getting Rehman back on loan and then putting him on the bench?

We get Benjamin in and for a bloke of his height and strength he cant win a thing in the air!

He doesnt play the same formation for more than one game,so how do you expect the team to know what they are doing half the time?

DK is a fan as well as the Chairman,so hopefully he will put his Fans head on and see what is happening on the playing side before it is to late
