Yes but currently we're wins from safety.
We've only won 3 games, and only just won 2 of them, so I expect us to be a fair way off getting promoted - but to answer your question, I think it would be better for us to stay in the championship. Hopefullt do well, get the extra seats, get more fans into the ground, and then get promoted in a few years with closer to 30k watching us week in week out, and enjoying the promotion. Not only are our team not ready for another step up, but we'd get 30 thousand fans to go an watch premiership football, and many wouldn't have been able to enjoy seeing us get there. They'd just come and see us get whipped by prem teams, and wonder what all the fuss is about.

Realistically, extremely unlikely imo. It is way too early judge, if we are still challenging in November and are still able to perform consistently then may dare to dream. I'm just enjoying each game as it comes at the moment, I don't want to waste this great start by looking too far ahead.

No reason why not. This league is always wide open, just look how well recent promoted sides have done, plus going further back Bristol City were 1 game away from doing it in their 1st season in the Champ.
It will be an amazing achievement if we pulled it off but theres no reason why we shouldn't be able to give it a real good go.

Definately possible, but realistically we'll finish outside of the Play-offs (in my opinion) Which would be a great achievable in our first season back in the Championship.
I remember a lot of us saying last season in Division One, finishing runners up or even play-off winners would have been a great achievement, little did we know we would finish as Champions.
Like others have side before, Norwich did it, so why can't we?!
If we continue to win games and play decent football, then I can see us attracting some decent Premiership players on loan in the January transfer window, that will only strenghten our push for promotion.

If we lose to Blackpool, there will be a thread about "Can Brighton realistically avoid relegation to League One" 
I kind of dread to think about going up, dont really like much about the premier league and all its hype, but no doubt will love it if we got there. Not sure the bank balance would like me too much for £40+ matchday tickets, and increase in season ticket prices etc, but its the price we pay for doing well
With Gus in charge we have one hell of a chance to do it, even if we went up, lost every game in the Premier League, we would still bank £50million or something stupid

Put it this way, I cannot see any huge differences in either finances, infrastructure or squads between Brighton and most of the teams which have been promoted in the past few years. If anything I can see many parallels. So why not?
