Can anyone suggest hotels in Florida Keys?

Looking to go out for a couple of weeks in December. Just me on my own, planning to pick up a car at Miami and bum around for a couple of weeks.

I don't want anywhere full of night clubs as I am an old fogey and want some chill out time in a decent hotel or somewhere nice!

Probably a few days here and there, all suggestions welcome

Looks nice, I-ll probably stay a few days.

Any suggestions for further west towards Key West? Im looking at a few days in each of two places
