Bugger it I think I'll just buy another one. This one sounds OK for me for £39.99 unless anyone has a better suggestion?

I'd suggest buying something something a little more substantial. I have set up many firesticks for friends but since they are cheap they are popular. I'd went the Nvidia route. Granted they are 3 times the price but they are worth it. Excellent remote that is very responsive too. I have one of each of these.

Thanks for this but that sounds a bit complicated for me, I only want it mainly for catch up mains stream TV. So I'll stick with the Amazon one which will simply be an upgrade on the one I already have which I eventually managed to figure out how it worked.

R.I.P. Sorry for your loss. I know you probably don't feel like it now and it will never replace the one you lost, but maybe in a few months you could think about getting another one.:cry:
