Bad idea. I dislike the idea of it getting media coverage and everyone being tagged as supporting the idea. Which majority probably don't. If you feel that way, hop on a train to London and do your me me me must be seen public displays of self righteousness outside Parliament. A much more suitable venue.

Apart From anything else, not sure it's allowed as the stewards wouldn't allow an 8' Peacehaven flag into The Amex at the Senior Cup Final (att: 2,500) due to the fact it was a fire risk. So if you do one, either make it the size of a pillow case or get it made by someone that'll fire certify it

Ugh. Social media inspired bollocks. If you're not being SEEN being right on, it's not worth doing is the thinking these days. What happened to donating some cash and getting on with your life? People are attention seeking click-whores.

TBF Bob Geldof said he can house 4 Families in his various empty homes…Nibble is also off in November, maybe he can let a family stay in his Gaff.

I'm sure all Britain's homeless will love the fact these "newcomers" will probably be better fed and housed than they are?

I know people say this as a silly way to retaliate but: I'm genuinely concerned with your obsession with my comings and goings so can I politely request that you cease making reference to my leaving the country. It's beginning to make me uncomfortable and I would really rather it stopped.
Cheers

Let me guess, you're not leaving the country now?

If so, bugger.

I've seen this nonsense on Facebook and it needs to be rebutted because it is simply untrue. While each council has their own rules on housing lists Brighton and Hove's policy is very clearly not this (and you'll remember they were run by a coterie of vegetarian socialists till May.)

Some highlights from their policy:

"You can apply from anywhere in the country to be on the register, but people with a local connection to the city are given priority. Please note that rough sleepers in the city who cannot prove their local connection are not offered housing, but are offered help to move elsewhere."

"If you are subject to immigration control, you will need to provide us with a copy of your status papers".

"Asylum seekers are not entitled to mainstream welfare benefits."

I'm meeting a friend for lunch today in the local Syrian restaurant. I'll let you know if I see any refugees or terrorists.

Saturday's match is dedicated to those who lost their lives at Shoreham, their families and friends. Any other agenda that even remotely detracts from that would be incredibly disrespectful.

I can't believe that anyone would contemplate it.

Saturday is all about Shoreham and beating Hull.

I have read some very interesting comments

Can people opposed wave a "You Are Not Welcome Flag" - we all have our own private opinions and differences.

For me, this is a football match and remembering the Shoreham disaster.
