In your dreams, he never "owned" cameron and was regularly taken to the cleaners by hague

Now the world has turned and its Thatcher's amoeba, Hague who was getting roasted at the despatch box this week.

When in oppossition he looked like a Big Hitter with his wounding jibes now he looks like he couldn't run the school tuck shop.

Yes of course he was. That's why Hague absolutely trounced Blair at the polls time after time, despite Blair's unpopular and ridiculous decision to take us into an illegal war.
Sorry , i forgot how the vast majority of the electorate sit glued to PMQ's , there'e me thinking it was the sun wot won it.

Well I watched PMQ on a regular basis and still do, as it is normally broadcast live across trading floors. And in my opinion, you're talking out of your arse on this one. I'm not saying Hague was out of depth, and he certainly squared up far better in opposition than mini-band, but he hardly ever owned him.

A bit of bi-play to this debate illustrating to me how far Labour appear out of touch on Libya: I enjoyed seeing General Richard Dannat sticking it to Bob Ainsworth former Defence Minister on last nights Newsnight when discussing the UK's potential role in any intervention in Libya.

The Labour view was negative backward looking and offered no positive options. Dannat seized on Ainsworth's error about the size of the 'black hole' in the budget created by Labour. Ainsworth did not offer any positive options for discussion or acknowledge that a humanitarian disaster may well be unfolding in Libya let alone the threat beyond Libya that Gaddafi could pose if allowed to remain.
